I was crossing the road to go shopping at the organic food store in the foreground, when I took the photo for this painting. I love the dilapidated feel of the buildings, but was amused by the collection of shops - fish & chips for dinner, washed down with a beer or glass of wine, and then onto the cinema next door - everything you need for a 'Great Night Out'!
