The title says it all really (sorry if that song is now stuck in your head!).
The daily drudgery of work is unavoidable for most of us, and I often use goldfish to symbolise mindlessness or unawareness. The reality of mortgages, rent and day to day living means we can often become slaves to our jobs.
This original painting is based on my own photograph and was created using a combination of acrylic underpainting, overlayed with spray paint and collage utilising hand cut stencils.
