I love the collection of buildings on Auburn Road in Hawthorn, Melbourne - they are architecturally beautiful and full of character. By using an impressionistic style in combination with stencils, I am able to create a painting that is modern, but also has an atmospheric old-world feel that when contrasted with the sneakers over the powerline, creates a painting that spans many eras.
