'If You Know, You Know' turns the classic cassette tape and pencil combination into a hand-painted object artwork, presented as an oversized vintage slide. Set against a pale blue background, the piece captures one of the most familiar symbols of 80's Australian childhood and retro music nostalgia — the homemade mixtape, the chewed tape, and the pencil that always had to come to the rescue.

For anyone who grew up with cassette tapes, the art of recording your favourite songs off the radio was both an endurance event and a labour of love.
